How do I search for homes in Oklahoma City or Dallas?
Use our Oklahoma property search for Oklahoma City and surrounding areas, or our Texas property search for Dallas. Narrow the results by budget, property type and must-have features, then confirm availability before arranging a showing.
What should I do before touring homes?
Define your priorities, review your total housing budget and speak with a lender if you plan to finance. Discuss the scope of representation, written agreements and compensation with your agent before beginning tours.
How do I request a free neighborhood market report?
Use the Free Neighborhood Market Report form and identify the market or neighborhood you want to explore. You can also choose Text Report — Oklahoma or Text Report — Dallas to open your messaging app. Add your neighborhood and send the message yourself. There is no fee to request the report.
Is a neighborhood market report a home appraisal?
A neighborhood report provides market context to support a conversation about buying or selling. It is not a formal appraisal, a guaranteed sale price or a promise of future property value. Ask which dates, geography and comparable properties are included.
How should I compare neighborhoods when relocating?
Start with your own priorities: travel routes, budget, property features, maintenance needs and access to amenities. Compare properties using consistent criteria and visit when possible. Confirm school attendance eligibility directly with the district for the specific address.
What costs should I consider beyond the purchase price?
Review lender and title charges, inspection and appraisal costs, prepaid expenses, taxes, insurance, HOA dues when applicable, and a maintenance reserve. Ask your lender for a written Loan Estimate and clarify the cash you will need at closing.
Who pays buyer-agent compensation?
Compensation is negotiable. Review the amount, services and payment arrangements in your written agreement. A seller or another party may agree to contribute, but buyers should not assume that their agent’s compensation will automatically be paid by the seller.
What is the first step if I want to sell?
Share your address, timing and goals with the team. Review comparable properties, your home’s condition, preparation options and an appropriate asking-price strategy before deciding how to bring the property to market.
